I absolutely love living in Logan. With that said I’m always happy for a reason to drive to Salt Lake (or anywhere else for that matter). Amanda & David gave me just the excuse I needed: an awesome couple, with style, who just happen to fans of “The Office” and “Parks and Rec.”
Whenever I’m somewhere a little unfamiliar I love being able to spend a few hours looking for locations. I wanted to take advantage of the urban setting, since I can’t really get it in Logan. So after hair and makeup was done by the wonderful Kassandra Olsen, we went straight for downtown SLC. The first half of our shoot was centered around courthouse columns and that iconic lions head door. I was planning on heading up to the capital for the second half of our session. But road construction is a price you pay when the weather is warm, so we were routed past a beautiful park overlooking the city. I decided this grass bathed in golden light was far better than the typical capital setting.
I loved working with these two and editing the photos was an absolute dream. Engagement sessions are so meaningful, low stress, and my couples are always so in love. So I’m thankful Amanda and David let me have another awesome engagement session with a great couple.
