I love Kacey Musgraves. Her songs sound good on the first listen. The lyrics make me feel smart. And she’s one of the few artists who mentions my home state in a song, (to be fair Idaho is a weird word sing). Her third album Golden Hour came out in March and I’ve spent the last five months on a Kacey-Musgraves-bender.
It’s probably a good idea to do some light Facebook research before meeting strangers in areas not covered by Verizon. I didn’t, because I love a good case of: “hey you free this day for my wedding”…..”Yup I can shoot that. See you there.”
I made an educated guess on what house Shelbie and here crew were getting ready in. I started taking pictures while trying to figure the people I had agreed to spend the next six hours working with.
Copper colored light bounced off the distant wildfire smoke. A free-spirited-wedding dress and flowers in her hair. I didn’t take me to long to figure out these follow your arrow, mind your own biscuits kind of people were gonna have a kind and lively evening. It’s a bit weird to say that a wedding gave of “Kacey-Vibes” but at least for me, it made that night even more fun.
